Teen/Parent Mediation

This program employs two full-time and one part-time counsellors. The focus of the Teen/Parent Mediation Program is on improving the understanding of family functioning, communication skills between family members, anger management techniques and conflict resolution skills. The conflict resolution program is for children aged 10 years or older (but is not exclusive to this age), adolescents and their parents, utilizing an educational, skill development and awareness model.

Parents Together

Parents Together is a proactive approach to the conflict and areas of concern experienced by parents of teenage children. In cooperation with the Boys' and Girls' Club of Canada, the program offers support and guidance in a caring atmosphere. Sessions are held on a weekly basis and conducted primarily by group participants.
